Unless you are TRYING to get BIG you won’t. There are certain weight lifting techniques body builders use to get their muscles extra ripped and generally speaking, lifting weights on a regular basis won’t bulk you up. Proper nutrition aspects come into play when trying to lose weight and tone your muscles, but also when you want to gain some serious muscle mass. Picking up a good habit of weight lifting 2-3 times a week (of course with some cardio) will significantly help decrease fat, tighten skin, and increase the visibility of your beautiful muscles! Don’t forget increase your overall strength. It feels good too! You may be sore the next day, but I call it the “Hurts So Good” soreness because your muscles will be asking for more.
